Facilities Maintenance Technician

Kanto Corporation, a supplier of ultra-high purity semiconductor process chemicals is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in support of production, warehouse and facilities operations. Duties include maintaining, adjusting, installing and modifying electrical and mechanical equipment in support of manufacturing and process control systems throughout the facility. Assists with scheduling and coordinating contract work as needed. Requires an A.S. degree or equivalent in engineering or manufacturing technology and 2-4 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and flow charts and perform a variety of mathematical calculations. Computer proficiency is required. Familiarity with HVAC equipment, electricity, voltage and circuitry, scrubbed exhaust systems, steam boilers, air compressors, RO/DI water systems, PLC hardware/software and facilities monitoring and control systems is desirable. Experience welding a variety of materials (plastic, steel and aluminum) is helpful and the ability to become certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician is required.
