Kanto Corporation, the world's leading supplier of ultra high purity process chemicals and engineered chemical systems, announced today the receipt of a multimillion dollar award for the chemical and slurry systems at a new 300 mm fabrication facility in the Eastern United States. The turnkey project consists of 26 systems, including traditional drum and tote fed chemical distribution systems, precision assay chemical dilution/blend systems, bulk chemical systems and drum/tote fed slurry systems. Kanto will deliver its first production scale slurry systems on this project, introducing its new advanced design slurry system. The slurry systems are blend/distribution units, which are unique in that they utilize gravity flow/pressure-dispense methodology. Kanto's turnkey responsibilities for the project include: chemical room facilitization, pre-cleaning and chemical preconditioning of all wetted components and tubing, the design, manufacture and installation of all systems, systems instrumentation and controls, SCADA system development and integration, field wiring, electrical control panels for power distribution and signals consolidation, chemical/slurry distribution piping and valve manifold boxes, and ongoing support after start-up.
